How do I book a session?

Get in contact via my online form or send an email directly to ashleysewardphotography@gmail.com
Once we have touched base and you would like to go ahead and lock in a date and time then I require a $150 deposit to secure the booking. This amount is deducted from your final package cost.

Do I need to choose my package upfront?

Definitely not. Once you have paid your deposit then no further decision and payment is required until after your session is complete and I send you your private online gallery. Once you have viewed your images you can go through and select your favorites, therefore deciding which package suits your needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

All my invoices are sent through the secure platform PAYPAL. This is to ensure that all my client payment information is kept confidential and safe for both parties. PAYPAL accepts both credit and debit cards, or can also be linked to your personal bank account if you are signed up. I also provide my bank details if you would prefer to make a direct deposit that way.

Where should we have our session?

Once you’ve selected a date and time we will chat location. Natural landscapes such as the beach, forest, field or a hidden bay photograph beautifully. But the options are limitless. Think about places your family enjoy together or somewhere you can see yourselves relaxed and having fun exploring. In home shoots are also a welcome option, especially for newborn sessions.

What should we wear?

This is the one thing that always seems to have mamas stressed. I always recommend keeping your outfits simple. Natural, light colours look wonderful against the landscape and always capture timelessly. But if a pop of colour is your thing then that is totally fine too, I’d just say stick to the same tones across the family. It’s also a great chance for mama to prioritize herself and pick her outfit first, then coordinate the family around that. Flowey dresses and skirts look great on camera and can always be layered with cardigans, scarves and hats if the weather requires. Foremost you should all feel comfortable and yourselves though. Can my dog come along?

Of course! I can’t imagine my life without my gorgeous big Golden Retriever Chester. So I definitely appreciate my clients desire to include their fur-babies in their forever memories. If you indicate you’d like to go down this path then we will chat a location that works to integrate your pet so that the session can remain calm, enjoyable and safe for all.
